Whether you’re in need or want to help your neighbors access food during tough times, these resources can make a lasting impact in your local community.
1) Little Free Pantry
Little Free Pantry is a project that empowers neighbors to combat food insecurity with resources readily available to them.
Similar to the concept of a little free library® anyone who wants to start their own little free pantry needs only a shelf or box to showcase it, and the food to stock it! After your little free pantry is stocked, you can upload your location to the worldwide map on the little free pantry website.

This project does not ask for any information, and you don’t need to be low income in order to qualify. All you need is transportation to the nearest little free pantry, and you will have food available for you!

2) Food Not Bombs

Food Not Bombs is a leaderless group project that is dedicated to offering free vegan meals to anyone in need using food that would have otherwise been discarded by large corporations. This organization is also an active anti-war protest group that believes in strictly non-violent practices.
Food Not Bombs has been offering free meals since 1980 and are well known in mutual aid spheres.

Most Food Not Bombs organizations have set days or times that a table will be set up for food outreach. You can coordinate with them by following your local chapter on social media or reaching out to them directly with the information provided in the location map on the Food Not Bombs official website.
